TARGET

Swedish Orphan International is a private Swedish pharmaceutical company with specialist products within rare diseases. SOI had sales in 2009 of SEK 0,7 bn.

SELLER

SOI was owned by Investor Growth Capital – a part of the listed investment company Investor AB, and Priveq – a Swedish small cap private Equity investor.

TRANSACTION

SOI was sold in a structured auction process with strong interest from industrial and financial buyers.
