Medtanken is a primary care provider in the Västra Götaland Region of Sweden with a strong local presence. Medtanken has 18 clinics with more than 105,000 listed patients, c. 420 full time employees and an annual turnover of SEK 650 million. In addition to primary care, Medtanken offers rehab clinics, specialist care within dermatology and cardiology, travel vaccination clinics, as well as occupational healthcare services and extended psychology services.
Medtanken is owned by Procuritas, a mid-market Scandinavian private equity house with 318 MEUR in committed capital. Procuritas has to date completed over 40 buyouts with a combined consideration of more than SEK 12 billion.
TARGET
Kvarterskliniken is a primary care provider in the Västra Götaland Region in Sweden with three clinics strategically located in central Gothenburg. The company has c. 50 employees, c. 20,000 listed patients and an annual turnover of c. SEK 100 million.
SELLER
The company’s founders and management. The majority owner, Carl-Peter Anderberg will remain active in group.
