BUYER

Valedo is a mid-market Scandinavian private equity house founded in 2006. Valedo currently manages two funds with a total capital SEK 3 billion. Valedo has done 14 buyouts of which 4 have been exited.

TARGET

Akademikliniken, a Swedish company established in 1991, is a leading provider of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery in Scandinavia. The Company has besides the main clinic in Stockholm, a clinic in Malmö and representative offices in Copenhagen and London. Akademikliniken has sales of SEK 180 million.

SELLER

Akademikliniken was sold by its three founding surgeons, who are all active in the company. All three founders will continue as owners and develop the company together with Valedo.

TRANSACTION

A structured auction process involving a large number of industrial and financial buyers.
